Kisite Mpunguti marine national park is commonly visited and famously known for being a good protected area that is surrounded with around 56 genera of hard corals, 252 reef fish species, 70 dolphins, 200 sea turtles, 2 species of sea grass and numerous sponges and for its large population of turtles among others.
